AB Engineering & Allied Services is built on our founder’s unique outlook on construction

For the years 1988-2010, the company was then known as the Cagayan de Oro Steel Center Incorporated (COSCI). COSCI then served as the outlet of National Steel Corporation (NSC) to market its product in the Northern Mindanao Area.

With its line-up of machineries, COSCI also ventured into general construction as well as into Structural Design & Fabrication and Machine Design & Construction among others. Some of the notable projects undertaken by COSCI are the following: construction of the Transmission Lines of STEAG COAL FIRED POWER PLANT; construction of the Elegant Chemical Alloy Corporation plant; and the perimeter fences of the Philippine Sinter Corporation and STEAG COAL FIRED POWER PLANT.

However, with the closure of the National Steel Corporation (NSC), the Board of Directors of COSCI decided to also close its operation. As COSCI Managing Director, Mr. Almarco Brito decided to purchase all the machineries of COSCI and decided to start a new company, known as AB Engineering and Allied Services.

As such, while AB Engineering and Allied Services just started last 2011, it brings with it the technology, knowhow, and the wealth of experiences of Cagayan de Oro Steel Center, Inc.

AB Engineering & Allied Services prides itself in general construction works, both in vertical as well as horizontal projects. With our metalworking machines such as the Hydraulic Press, Guillotine Cutter, Rolling and Bending Machines, we can offer diverse services to support the structural steel requirements of our various clients and produce metal products based on their required specification.
